The 2018 Emmaus Europe Migration and Trafficking Collective meeting began on 20 June 2018 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the participants have met the representatives of member groups in Bosnia.
On the first day of the Collective meeting, participants have had a presentation, overview and a visit to the European Resource Center for the Prevention of Trafficking in Human Beings and Other Forms of Exploitation – EURC, managed by the International Forum of Solidarity – EMMAUS.
After that, the Emmaus representatives, coming from France, Germany, Romania, Italy and Spain, have had a walking historical and informative tour of the Sarajevo city center – Bascarsija.
The 2018 Emmaus Europe Migration and Trafficking Collective meeting – Day 2
On the second day of the Emmaus Europe Migration and Trafficking Collective meeting, the participants traveled together to Doboj – East, and have visited the IFS – EMMAUS Youth Centre, where asylum seekers and migrants, as well as unaccompanied minors are accommodated. Following the visit, they have attended the Training session about the outsourcing of border management delivered by Claudia Charles from the Migreurop network.
After the training and lunch, the participants and hosts will head together towards Osijek, where they will have a session on the inseparable link between migration and human trafficking in Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (CNZD) with Croatian stakeholders.
The 2018 Emmaus Europe Migration and Trafficking Collective meeting – Day 3
On the 3rd day of the European Migration/Human Trafficking Collective, the participants of the event attended the session on the inseparable link between migration and human trafficking.
The session was held in CNZD (Center for Missing and Exploited Children), in Osijek, Croatia, with Croatian stakeholders.
